Greenville
Federal Credit Union announced today it will sponsor a “Teacher Care
Package” giveaway, in partnership with GVLToday. The giveaway will take place over two weeks in May. Four winners
will each receive a package of gift cards worth $500 to local businesses including
Table 301, OASE Day Spa, Swamp Rabbit Cafe, Coffee Underground, and
Spinx.
The credit union is sponsoring Teacher Care Package to recognize and thank local teachers for their hard work during the 2021-22 school year.
The past few years have been incredibly difficult for educators as they deal with lingering challenges from the pandemic. Greenville Federal Credit Union wanted to find a meaningful way to show its support for individual teachers and to encourage them to take some time for self-care.
“As everyone counts down the final days of the school year, we want teachers to feel the support of this community. It’s very encouraging to see the great response when people are given the opportunity to spotlight and recognize the hardworking individuals who are so committed to educating our children.” said Paul Hughes, CEO of Greenville Federal Credit Union.
The giveaway, administered by GVLToday, will be hosted on Instagram for two weeks starting May 16. Anyone can nominate a local teacher by tagging them on the GVLToday Teacher Care Package Instagram posts and following the credit union. The winners will be announced by GVLToday the week after each post.
