COVID-19: Annual Meeting Postponed and Important Information for Members.

by Catherine James, VP Marketing and Brand Strategy

As the Coronavirus continues to spread globally and within the United States, more organizations like ours are taking proactive precautions to help inform their members and to guard against the spread of the disease.  While the number of cases in South Carolina is limited, Greenville Federal Credit Union’s top priorities are protecting the health of everyone within our facilities and providing uninterrupted service for our members. Our senior leadership is meeting frequently to review, update and potentially enact portions of our Business Continuity Plan which includes pandemic planning.

We have taken the following preventive measures:

  • The Annual Meeting scheduled for March 26 has been postponed and will be rescheduled when health officials deem it safe for large groups to gather. The credit union will provide ample notice for the new meeting date.
  • We’ve increased the frequency and thoroughness of our cleaning schedules.
  • Hand sanitizer stations are available in all locations.
  • Employees have been provided with the CDC’s guidelines for preventing the spread of the virus.
