The credit union is pleased to announce it is implementing a new Automated Fraud Alert system that will automatically send text, email and voice messages to members when suspicious activity is detected on their credit union credit and debit card accounts. The system is already in place for debit cards and will launch for credit cards by the end of April.
In the event fraud is detected, the system will send members text, email and voice messages with transaction confirmation and instructions, as well as the number to a dedicated Fraud Detection Support Center where agents are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist.
As fraudsters, hackers and identity thieves develop new tricks and scams every day, our team continually researches the latest methods and tools to help protect members. The addition of the Automated Fraud Alert system allows the credit union to instantly provide information and next steps directly to members.
